Securing the
post-quantum world with NCSC assurance
The PQC ACSC highlights our leadership in supporting organisations through the complex challenges of preparing for a post-quantum future - where today’s cryptographic systems will no longer be enough to secure sensitive data.
Securing the future
By working with an NCSC assured consultancy, organisations can be confident they are receiving advice that meets the UK’s highest standards of expertise and trust.
Our accreditations under the PQC ACSC pilot covers Post-Quantum Cryptography (Discovery and Migration Planning) and Post-Quantum Cryptography (Advice).

What is PQC ACSC?
The PQC ACSC pilot is the UK’s first assured scheme for post-quantum cryptography. It sets rigorous standards for organisations providing advice and consultancy on how to prepare for the risks posed by quantum computing to modern cryptography.
The NCSC’s scheme recognises organisations that can:

Assess cryptographic dependencies across critical systems.

Support discovery and migration planning for post-quantum cryptography.

Provide strategic advice to boards and technical teams on resilience in the quantum era.
Why quantum change demands action now
Quantum computing is expected to render much of today’s public key cryptography obsolete. Therefore, the NCSC has released a clear roadmap for PQC migration, and the key dates are now essential guideposts.
By 2028
Complete discovery & planning (understand crypto dependencies, set migration goals)
By 2031
Begin migrating critical systems, pilot PQC / crypto-agile solutions, refine strategies
By 2035
Full migration across systems, services and products to post-quantum cryptography

By 2035

These dates aren’t just guidelines - they are deadlines for resilience.
Without preparation, organisations could face risks such as:

Long-term exposure of sensitive data (harvest now, decrypt later).

Compromised national security and supply chain resilience.

Major disruption to digital trust, financial systems, and secure communications.
Expertise in action
Our assured services focus on two core areas: Discovery and Migration Planning, and Advisory Services.
Together, these provide both the technical insight and the strategic guidance organisations need to map their cryptographic landscape, plan secure migration strategies, and embed resilience into long-term decision-making.

Discovery and Migration Planning
This service focuses on helping organisations understand their current cryptographic landscape. Many systems rely on algorithms that will be vulnerable in a post-quantum world, but these dependencies are often hidden across applications, infrastructure, and supply chains.
Through discovery workshops, audits, and technical assessments, Avella will be able to identify where cryptography is used, and which systems are most at risk. From there, we create a practical migration roadmap that prioritises critical assets and ensures a smooth transition to quantum-safe alternatives.

Advisory Services
Our advisory work bridges the gap between technical change and strategic decision-making. We support boards, CISOs, and senior leaders in understanding the risks, opportunities, and governance implications of the quantum shift.
This includes guidance on investment planning, supplier engagement, and embedding post-quantum resilience into enterprise-wide risk management frameworks. By combining technical insight with strategic perspective, we help organisations prepare confidently for the post-quantum era.
From discovery to resilience
At Avella, we view our recognition as one of only a select group of organisations assured for PQC Discovery & Migration Planning, and Advice as a responsibility as much as an achievement.
