The Goal

To help a UK-based technology company specialising in wireless communication solutions understand and manage the risks associated with AI adoption across its operational and development environments, while enabling the secure, responsible, and effective use of AI technologies throughout the organisation.

The Approach

Avella delivered a comprehensive AI risk management programme, beginning with a discovery exercise to assess how AI was being used across the business and identify associated security, privacy, and governance risks. Based on the findings, we developed tailored AI security training for both technical and non-technical staff and produced a bespoke AI Security Handbook, providing practical guidance, governance principles, and best practices to support consistent and secure AI usage.

The Result

The organisation gained a clear understanding of its AI risk landscape and the controls required to support secure AI adoption. Staff awareness of AI-related threats and opportunities increased significantly, while the AI Security Handbook established a consistent approach to governance and responsible use.
